Wilderness First Aid

Wilderness First Aid is a 16-20 hour course that meets certification requirements of The American Safety and Health Institute and follows the course guidelines of The Wilderness Medical Society. This is a great introductory course in Wilderness Medicine for trip leaders, hikers, boaters, backcountry skiers, hunters, and anyone who works or plays away from quick access to standard emergency care. This course can be taught with CPR/ AED (20hr) or to those that already posses CPR/AED certification. CPR/AED certification is highly recommended to accompany a Wilderness First Aid Certification.

This course meets the requirements of most insurance providers and workplace requirements for entry level guides, camp staff, field researchers, and natural resource employees.
