Alaska Coastal Safety offers small group and custom courses in Wilderness Medicine, First Aid, CPR, EMS, and risk management training & consulting year round. Seasonally we focus on offering Winter & Avalanche Safety Training, and Paddle Sports training progressions for entry level paddlers through Guide Training & Certification. We meet the needs of: healthcare professionals, guides, outdoor program staff, natural resource agencies, search and rescue groups, EMS, maritime industry, as well as the general public that work and play outdoors. We also develop custom alaskan adventure programs for small and large groups offering experiential learning in: field based natural history, team building, paddlesports, expedition safety, & trip planning. We offer private coaching and trip planning consulting for avid paddlers, multi-sport adventurers, laid back travelers, and endurance athletes planning trips and objectives in Alaska. We also love to play host to our favorite local paddling and outdoor destinations through our Local Knowledge EdVenture program.

Programs are offered state wide at your location, or scheduled in our classrooms and field sites around Girdwood, Alaska. We are located 30 miles from Anchorage, Alaskas largest city.
