This class is the most fun one to teach and take! Students take there skills polished on flat water and in the waves and put them to work in the current found in our local river systems. Learn river hydrology, self and assisted river rescue practice, and develop board handling skills like ferrying in current, edging, eddy turns, and peel outs.
When the conditions are ripe; this course even offers the opportunity to shred and work on surfing standing waves, running rapids, and of course bracing and support strokes!
Courses take place on class 1-2 Rivers including Portage Creek, and other secret locations TBD based on conditions.
